SKIN CHECK AND EXCISION FEES
Skin checks and excisions are charged as a combination of a consultation fee, part of the cost of consumables (eg dressings) and a nurse appointment fee that reflects the nature of the procedure.

As from 1/8/2024 we will become a mixed billing practice.
This change would mean that there will be an out-of-pocket charge for your appointments. We hope you understand our decision and we look forward to seeing you again at your next consultation.
Weekday Fees
Standard consultations will continue to be Bulk billed.
Longer consultations may attract a fee. $102.90 ($20 out of pocket)
Patients without a Medicare card
Standard Consults M-F $60.00
Long Consultation M-F $100.00
Phone consult – M-F $60.00
Weekends and Public Holiday fees
Weekends and public holidays will also incur an out-of-pocket fee.
Saturdays
Phone Consults and standard consults will be $70.00 ($27.15 out of pocket)
Long Consultation $120.00 ($37.10 out of pocket)
Public Holidays
Standard consults $80.00 ($29.20 out of pocket)
Long Consultation $135.00 ($39.30 out of pocket)
- Children under the age of 16
- Healthcare card holders, Pension card holders
- DVA patients
Will continue to be Bulk billed.
Care Plans, Health Assessments, Diabetes reviews will remain Bulkbilled for all patients.
Fees do apply to other procedures, such as skin checks, procedures, dressings etc. For more information, please ask the reception staff.
Full body skin cancer check are bulk billed for patients 65 years and over and anyone on a pension/health care card otherwise $50 gap payment. ($92.85)
Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, credit card or EFTPOS.
Our practice is equipped with TYRO and Medicare On-Line. These facilities allow us to lodge your receipt directly to Medicare on the spot.
We also have Tyro health for those with private insurance.
